How to choose?

Consider the following:

Size

If you're new to fishkeeping, start with a tank that's at least 10 Litres or above. Smaller tanks are harder to maintain because as water volume is lesser, water conditions can be easily affected by multiple factors (such as filtration, feeding, temperature, organic waste) and change rapidly.

Budget

Consider how much space you have, with a budget in mind. Larger tanks are often easier to maintain, but they can also be more expensive (for the aquarium and it's accessories).

Design

If you have plan to design your tank, i.e. aquascape, pick a size that can fit the idea or live stock you have in mind. BTW, we do provide aquascape service here, too! ;)
